HydraFacials are safe when the skin barrier is intact and not irritated. Our Senior Aesthetician will review your medical history and any contraindications and precautions before treatment.

Contraindications:

  • Active skin infection (bacterial, viral, fungal)

  • Open wounds, cuts, or broken skin

  • Active cold sores / herpes simplex in the treatment area

  • Severe cystic acne with open or oozing lesions

  • Recent (within 6 months) isotretinoin (Accutane) use

  • Allergy to salicylic acid or any Hydrafacial solution ingredients

 


 

Caution:

  • Sunburnt skin

  • Damaged skin barrier due to over-exfoliation or irritated skin

  • Recent chemical peel or laser (usually wait 1–2 weeks)

  • Active eczema or psoriasis flare

  • Moderate–severe rosacea flare
