HydraFacials are safe when the skin barrier is intact and not irritated. Our Senior Aesthetician will review your medical history and any contraindications and precautions before treatment.
Contraindications:
Active skin infection (bacterial, viral, fungal)
Open wounds, cuts, or broken skin
Active cold sores / herpes simplex in the treatment area
Severe cystic acne with open or oozing lesions
Recent (within 6 months) isotretinoin (Accutane) use
Allergy to salicylic acid or any Hydrafacial solution ingredients
Caution:
Sunburnt skin
Damaged skin barrier due to over-exfoliation or irritated skin
Recent chemical peel or laser (usually wait 1–2 weeks)
Active eczema or psoriasis flare
Moderate–severe rosacea flare
